Our guests love the Berkshire Inn, and we know you will too! Here’s what some of our visitors have had to say:
Amazing Hosts!
“We arrived in town thinking we had somewhere to stay just to find out I made a mistake on our booking. We ended up stumbling onto this inn and the owners were so kind. They could have ignored us and kept sleeping but they heard me attempting to open the door and they saved our lives and provided us with an amazing room with a bed comfy bed.” – TripAdvisor Visitor from Waterbury, Vermont
Absolutely gorgeous scenery.
“Very close to Yosemite valley, friendly hosts and very clean and comfortable rooms.” – Alex H.
Great Place to Unwind After a Busy Day at Yosemite
“Great place, lovely sunset views, close to Groveland which has decent places to eat. And most importantly, it is very close to entrance of Yosemite National Park. My girlfriend loves dogs and I’m terrified of them but Buster was an unusually friend dog at the residence. The hosts, Chris and Brittany are very warm and welcoming. They’ll help you with planning and answer all your questions. You’ll be welcomed with complementary wine (we had Rosè) and the breakfast also sets you up on track before you leave for activities in the Park next day. And one last thing, the smoking area is gorgeous at night with lights under a beautiful sky full of stars. Sighting a shooting star won’t be surprising. Will be coming back for sure.” TripAdvisor Visitor, from San Francisco, CA.
We were treated as though we were family.
“The Berkshire Inn is better than your destination!! This family are the kindest and gentlest of souls that it has been my pleasure to come in contact with. To say that they made my trip out west would be a large understatement. When our family had a tire blow on our rental van which the rental company left no spare for, we thought that tragedy hit our journey. We ended up across the street from this bed&breakfast and the owners came out to invite us in. The home was the most beautiful home that I have ever witnessed. Well taken care of with beautiful scenery. We were given a tour of the property that extends plenty.
They allowed me to help with cooking since I enjoy cooking. She taught me a thing or two about cooking as well. We had to wait 9 hours for a new van to be delivered to us!!! All of this being done without expecting a penny from us. We would have all gone insane if it weren’t for the generosity and kindness of their hearts. Next time that I find myself in the area, this will be my destination instead of just a stop along the way.” – James G. from New York
